Hello all, i have quite recently gotten a new laptop, and on said laptop i downloaded the following software from getintopc:
As title says i have found few old reddit's post mention getintopc for downloading pc software, but havent linked the site.

I’ve been using getintopc and have recently learned about the malware that has been known to be put into their software. If you have issues when you download chrome on your windows computer, use the alternative link to download.
I was looking around the megathread, but i didn't find any info about this site. If you've used a different browser, like firefox, you can import your settings into chrome. I usually use igetintopc.com to download stuff with no problem whatsoever, but i decided to check here after seeing igetintopc.com safe as a search suggestion. It's a good site and all the programs work but everytime i use a download one of my accounts gets broken into, luckily i change my pws and stuff but are there any alternatives for.
Not they get into pc doesn't necessarily couldn't mistakenly have malware but looking at those detection it's a false positive most likely so i have to downvote
