The pure white sand dunes were stunningly.
I did a cross country national parks road trip last summer and white sands was easily in my top 5 parks, the landscape is so dynamic as the light changes and hiking it feels otherworldly. I need help deciding if. Carlsbad caverns, in my opinion, will take. I embarked on the alkali trail early in the morning, and it was absolutely breathtaking.
Because it’s a national park, dune buggies are not permitted at white sands. The drive between el paso and white sands is over an hour, 3 hours between white sands and carlsbad and then 2 hours between there and el paso. White sands national park my boyfriend and i were wanting to take a trip out to new mexico for the white sands national park but i noticed a lot of it is closed off due to that plane crash. I’ve been to new mexico twice but i haven’t visited this park yet.
With a potential government shutdown looking.
Alamogordo has some cool museums. My family and i have a vacation to new mexico planned and we are so excited to see carlsbad caverns and white sands national parks.
